Call for General Sessions

The Clinical Congress 2027 Call for General Sessions is open September 1–October 14 to all ACS Fellows.

Clinical Congress brings together more than 8,000 attendees, including international attendees, providing an opportunity to share ideas and approaches with surgeons from across specialties, practice settings, and career stages.

What We’re Looking For

Fellows are invited to propose panels, workshops, debates, and other sessions that:

• Advance surgical care and address issues that matter to surgeons and their patients
• Explore emerging ideas, technologies, and approaches shaping the future of surgery
• Help surgeons and surgical teams navigate an evolving practice environment
• Share practical strategies that strengthen surgical care, teams, and systems

Preference will be given to proposals that are applicable to surgeons across specialties, career stages, and/or practice settings.

Session Formats

Proposals may be submitted for:

• 50-minute short-form sessions
• 80-minute long-form sessions

Interactive formats are encouraged, including sessions that incorporate varied approaches, multidisciplinary teams, and/or media.
